520			_aThe present paper suggest the wide potentiality of rubber wood hard board as an alternative of imported plywood for the manufacture of tea chests. Rubber wood hard board was compared with the imported plywood, imported hard board and local plywood, for the quality of tea during storage in chests made out of these materials. It was experimentally proved that rubber wood hard board has equal quality compared with imported plywood for the manufacture of tea chests.
