The growth of stock plants and its effect on the scion growth of young buddings of Hevea brasiliensis (Muell Arg).

The correlation between the stock and scion diameter at the time of field planting was also significant (r=o.91580, p=0.001). The diameter of the scion shoot after six months of field planting was also correlated (r=0.23175, p=0.001) with the diameter of the stock at bud grafting.
