Analysis on soil and leaf nutrient condition under stimulated tapping system in rubber plantation in Xishuangbanna

The results indicated that after 5 years applying of stimulating tapping system, the nutrient condition of rubber plantation had been improved on the whole, but the soil O.M content, soil N content and leaf N content had been decreased, Mg in Jinghong Farm and P in Dongfeng Farm were obviously destitute. The deficit of N was a universal phenomenon in rubber plantation in Xishuangbanna; it had become one of the limiting factors to increase rubber yield, so it was advised to apply more N fertilizer in the plantation.
