Drying characteristics and dynamic model of chlorinated natural rubber from latex
Material type:
TextPublication details: Journal of Rubber Research 2003Description: 195-206Subject(s): Summary: Drying characteristics of chlorinated natural rubber (CNR) from latex were analysed through drying experiments by suspending CNR cubes in an air chamber at different drying temperatures, air velocity and granularity. Two different models were asopted to predict the two drying phases of CNR. It was found that thw two drying models could accurately represent the drying characteristics of CNR. SAS was used to estimate parameters in the drying model and a drying constant. Chemical and viscosity methods were also used to measure the effect of drying temperature on physical and chemical properties.
