TextSubject(s): Summary: The results of the study indicates that Thai rubber seed oil containing lower linolenic acid than the standard value of about 5-6;can be used as an effective ingredient of painting. Rambutan seed contain 35;oil, the fatty composition has 7-8;Eicosenoic (c 20:1) and 46.7;of saturated fatty acid, which show that rambutan oil is suitable for margarine and shortening industries. New fatty acid, Monoenoic (C 19:1) was found in Thai longan seed oil which will be the subject of a future study.
