An extraction system using a combination of crawler tractor, chainsaw, bulldozer/winch skidding etc. is suggested. Other suggestions like the use of portable sawmills, a uniform rate of royalty assessment and the rapid processing of fell trees are deemed desirable for maximizing the utilization of the wood.
