This study discusses a new suspension process for the preparation of sulfur/dicyclopentadiene and sulfur/dicyclopentadiene/styrene copolymers. The relationship between the sulfur/olefin copolymer and vulcanizate properties is discussed in terms of the structure of the copolymer and other reaction products.
