The results indicated that there was a curve relation between the loss rate of dry rubber yield and the serious level of disease; the effect of light disease on dry rubber yield was not remarkable, medium disease did not reduced the yield but increased it obviously and serious or special serious disease decreased the yield significantly. It could increase the dry rubber yield to some extent and evidently control the Phytophthora leaf fall to maintain medium intensity of powdery mildew. Therefore, medium level of powdery mildew can be tolerant economically, which can be used as a standard of cost-effective control. It can reduce the loss of rubber yield to keep tapping under the precondition of protecting the second whorl leaves after large numbers of leaves fall caused by powdery mildew. Moreover, light or medium disease will not remarkably influence the dry rubber yield of the next year ER -
