N2  - Five phhysiological parameters of latex, namely total solid content, sucrose, inorganic phosphorus, thiol groups contents and plugging index, were studied on Wickham and 1981 Germplasm clones. The results showed differences in the profiles of the physiological characteristics of latex of the 1981 Germplasm and Wickham groups. Significant correlations were found between yield and physiological parameters of latex in the Germplasm. The Germplasm appeared to have a less active laticiferous system
