Experiments were conducted at 40oC. Curves of cumulative amounts pf phosphorus extracted after a 2-hour equilibration time gave an initial fast reaction that slowed down over the extraction numbers investigated. A generally low ease of release of the nutrient was apparent from the study. Bedded floor manures of the commercial birds exhibited the greatest ease while cow dung had the least. Equilibration time, initial Phosphorus concentration and pH ecerted some influence on phosphorus extractability ER -
