N2  - In 1989/90 and again in 1993 the IRRDB carried out a survey among its member countries of the severity of diseases of Hevea, using a non-quantitative set of ranking criteria. The surveys have identified those diseases which are rated severe and which are widely distributed. Clonal influences are also noted but these probably merely reflect the popularity of certain clones rather than intrinsic susceptibility
