N2  - The choice of timber for different uses restricted only to certain species which leads to the scarcity of timber of consumers special interest. The need for conserving natural forest also forced to import timber. However, the imported timber may not suit to use in our environmental conditions and this is also economically not sustainable. This is giving some suggestions to solve these problems by improving the quality (physical and mechanical properties) of our locally available timber species so as to use these for different purposes
