From 250,000 acres of rubber plantation, it is possible to collect seeds to yield 4000 M.T. of oil and 7000 M.T. of high protein seed cake. Alkyd resin manufactured from rubber seed oil can replace the imported resins and the import of oils such as linseed, castor and soybean for producing resins for industrial use, can be cut down to save foreign exchange. Collection of rubber seed is expected to generate part-time job also to so many people
