Each plants was inoculated with 5000 second stage juveniles(J2) of M. javanica and 6000 J2 of M. exigua. 90 and 120 days after inoculation, respectively, the indices of galls and egg masses, and reproduction factors were determined. The cultivars PB 235, RRIM 600, GT 1 and IAN 873 were resistant to M. javantica but susceptible to M. exigua, except for GT 1, which was not evaluated.
