Most of the communities living around the rubber processing factories are severely affected with the pollution problem caused by the factories. A Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) was carried out with the affected people. Culloden factory pollution problem gave a correct idea about how the affected people feel the problem. Participants actively engaged in exploring the problem and made their views and ideas. The sense the problem with relation to the climatic changes (mainly rainfall and the dry spells) that occurred in the area for last twenty years.
