Morphological, pathogenic and isoenzymatic characterization of Colletotrichum gloeosporioides isolated from rubber tree

By: Contributor(s): Material type: TextTextPublication details: Summa Phytopathologica 1999Description: 222-228Subject(s): Online resources: Summary: Morphologic, pathogenic and isoenzymatic comparisons of C. gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata] isolates from different organs of Hevea brasiliensis were made. Isolates S19 (leaf) and fruit (S16) were more ovoid than the other isolates. Through pathogenecity tests 5 of 6 isolates were pathogenic. Isolate S19 (leaf) was not pathogenic. The electrophoretic patterns of total proteins investigated allowed the differentiation of the isolates through predominant bands, according to the organ of the plant from where they originated.
