Genetic analysis of isoenzymatic systems in rubber tree clones(Hevea sp).
Material type:
TextPublication details: Angewandte Botanik 1999Description: 138-144Subject(s): Online resources: Summary: The purpose of the present study was to interpret the genetic analysis of twelve isoenzymatic systems in 107 rubber tree(Hevea sp) clones of different genetic origins. Twenty-four loci and 54 alleles were identified. Ten new alleles were found, two at the Est6 and Got3 loci and one allele at the Est1, Acp, beta-Glu, Got2, Lap1, and Mdh1 loci. The alleles encoding the Acp, beta-Glu and Lap-1 variants are species-specific for H.nitida(Acp) and H.rigidifolia (beta-Glu and Lap-1).
