In Malaysia it is being used as fuel, for making charcoal, production of chips, manufacture of block boards etc. The paper also points out the very high potentiality of rubber wood for making furniture and related products, SMR pellets, flooring materials, wall panelling materials, particle board, fibre board, pulp and paper, hard board etc. Rubber wood yield an inferior quality pulp due the presence of residual rubber.
