Summary, etc	Mature rubber trees treated with one application of pellet complex fertilizer per year and tapped under S/2 d/5+ET2.5-3.5;, 12/a, 48 - 51t/a produced slightly higher dry rubber yield and dry rubber content as compared to the control (three applications of the same fertilizer per year plus S/2 d/4+ET2.5-3.5;, 8/a, 60-63t/a), and no adverse influence was found on its secondary characteristics, latex physiological parameters and dry rubber mechanical properties. The treatment reduced fertilizer by 2/3 and tappers by 1/5 as against the control, lowering the cost by 370 yuan/ton. The treatment was hence labor-saving, efficient and safe.
