Interaction between rootstock and scion on endogenous phytohormones in latex of Hevea brasiliensis grafted - Proceedings of IRRDB Conference: NR Industry: Responding to Globalization, 7-8 September 2004, Kunming International Convention & Exhibition Center, China. pp.350-354.
Three kinds of endogenous phytohormones, IAA, iPAs and ABA, in latex of inter-grafted and self-grafted (CK) consisting of self-root clones, Haiken2 and SCATC88-13, were determined by plant hormonal immunoassay. The differences among them were analyzed. The results indicated that budgrafting had apparently effects on the contents of IAA, iPAs and ABA in latex of rootstocks and scions. It could increase apparently IAA content, and decrease iPAs content in latex of rootstocks and scions. It could increase apparently IAA content, and decrease iPAs content in latex of rootstocks and scions in different degrees. However, the effect on ABA content in rootstocks and scions of budgrafting was correlative with grafted clones and grafting models, rootstocks or scion. The interaction between rootstock and scion represented positively or negatively because of differences in grafted clones or grafting modes. The degree of interaction differed because of differences in grafted clones or grafting modes. The degree of interaction differed between clones. Haiken2 was affected by SCATC88-13 more evident than that of SCATC88-13 by Haiken2.
