Effects of stimulated tapping system on the properties of natural rubber latex

By: Contributor(s): Material type: TextTextPublication details: Proceedings of IRRDB Conference: NR Industry: Responding to Globalization, 7-8 September 2004, Kunming International Convention & Exhibition Center, China. pp.454-457.Subject(s): Summary: The particle sizes and particle size distributions of the natural rubber latex from three tapping systems including the traditional tapping system (A), the current chemical-stimulation tapping system (B) and the excess-stimulation tapping system (C) were determined by using of the laser particle size analyzer. The variation trends of volatile fatty acid number (VFA No), mechanical stability time (MST) and KOH value (KOH) along with the storage time of the natural rubber latex concentrated were studied according to the National Standards concerned of China.
